Terms of Service

1. Introduction & Acknowledgment

By using the PaperStack app, you agree to these terms. PaperStack is provided by Apptic Labs. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Apptic Labs, not with Apple Inc., Google LLC, or any other third-party platform provider.

Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the PaperStack app.

2. Usage & Disclaimer

The app is intended for educational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of all past papers, marking schemes, or AI grading results, although we strive for the highest quality. Our tools are meant to supplement your studies, not replace official guidance or examiner feedback.

In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you (if applicable); and, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app.

3. AI Usage Limitations

PaperStack utilizes Generative AI to provide grading feedback and study chat responses. You acknowledge that AI-generated responses are for educational reference and may not reflect official Cambridge (CAIE) grades or opinions. You agree not to use the AI services for generating abusive, illegal, or unethical content, nor to facilitate academic dishonesty.

4. User Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You can request account deletion at any time from within the app settings.

5. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

PaperStack offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions to access premium features. If you choose to purchase a subscription:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at the confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings on the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.

6. User-Generated Content (UGC)

By uploading images, PDFs, or sending text queries to our service, you confirm that you have the right to share this content. You agree not to upload any content that is offensive, unlawful, or infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

7. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. Your continued use of the service following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
